Provisio Medical, Inc. is a high-growth, recently FDA-cleared medical device company in the vascular intervention space. Provisio Medical seeks to establish a new standard in vessel sizing, a critical step in millions of endovascular procedures performed every year. Provisio’s SLT IVUS™ technology, which is incorporated into the type of catheters that physicians are already using, is designed to revolutionize interventional therapies by giving physicians the exact information that they need, when they need it, while enhancing procedural workflow. SLT IVUS is a novel implementation of ultrasound that enables real-time measurement of blood vessels to aid in the selection of appropriate therapeutic stents and balloons and confirm treatment results. With the company’s recent FDA clearance, the company is rapidly expanding its operations.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for electronics hardware testing, troubleshooting and documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Applies technical knowledge to perform PCB/CCA electrical testing on digital, analog, RF and mixed signal hardware
- Follows and documents schematics, bill of materials, work instructions and test procedures as necessary
- Measuring and recording performance metrics using multimeters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes
- Diagnose test failures down to the component level and replaces components or wiring circuits as necessary to IPC standards
- Operate within a quality management system documenting test results and managing traveler lifecycle
- Monitor equipment calibration certifications
- Assists engineering and works under minimal guidance and supervision
- Reports status of ongoing test activities to immediate supervisor
- Support company goals and objectives, policies, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three-years hands-on industry experience in hardware testing down to the component level
- Use of soldering irons, multimeters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions, prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, works under deadlines and apply technical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Technology or other relevant field
- IPC certification a plus
- Strong technical, interpersonal, communication, and training skills
- Ability to exercise sound decision-making and good judgment consistent
- Strong analytical, organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, to handle multiple tasks, and to meet aggressive deadlines
- Can use software programs including Microsoft Work, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with RF hardware with frequencies below 100MHz
- Expertise in prototyping and manufacturing methods appropriate for the medical device industry

HOURS
HOURS/STATUS: Full-time onsite position
SALARY RANGE
Salary range of $54,000 and $75,000 based on education and experience.
