Provisio Medical, Inc. is a development-stage medical device company dedicated to developing a market disrupting technology that is compatible with multiple interventional devices, to enable revolutionary improvements in vascular and cardiovascular healthcare.
Sonic Lumen Tomography is a novel intravascular ultrasound technology (SLT IVUS™) that provides accurate and precise real-time flow lumen dimensions. The SLT IVUS platform may also be easily integrated into many of the endovascular devices that physicians are already using today. Without the shortcomings of angiography’s ionizing radiation and kidney-toxic contrast media, Provisio’s SLT IVUS platform looks to seamlessly provide physicians the exact information that they need, when they need it, to improve both clinical workflows and outcomes.
Provisio is creating a new paradigm in intravascular measurements to assess clinical presentation, guide treatment decisions such as proper sizing of therapeutic endovascular devices and confirm completion of treatment therapies.

Leadership
Provisio medical has an experienced leadership team, most with over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry; dedicated to bringing disruptive innovation to cardiovascular healthcare.
Prior to founding Provisio in 2014, Dr. Ryan was a senior executive at Volcano Corporation (acquired by Philips Healthcare), the leading IVUS company, where he served as Global Head of Clinical, Medical, and Scientific Affairs. He previously served as the founding Chief Technology Officer of InfraReDx, an intravascular imaging company acquired by the Japanese company Nipro. He has also served in a consulting role for a number of both major and early-stage companies, including assuming acting medical director or CMO roles in public medtech and biotech companies. In total, Dr. Ryan has nearly 20 years of experience in the medtech industry and is an inventor on numerous patents within the field.
Dr. Ryan earned his Medical Doctorate with honors at the University of Kentucky School of Medicine and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a degree focus on scientific applications from the University of Kentucky College of Engineering.
Mr. Quinoy is an accomplished senior executive and leader with demonstrated success in all aspects of global sales and commercial operations. He has direct experience in commercialization, strategic planning, forecasting, product launches, and creating world class sales organizations to drive rapid and sustained growth. Prior to joining Provisio, Quinoy was Vice President, Global Sales at Gynesonics, a women’s healthcare company focused on the development of minimally invasive solutions for uterine fibroids. Prior to this, Quinoy was Vice President/General Manager U.S. Sales and Commercial Operations for Quebec-based Opsens Inc., an interventional cardiology device company. Previously, he spent 12 years in various senior executive roles, including President US/APLAC Commercial Sales for San Diego-based Volcano Corp., a medical device company where he led the sales team from initial startup to more than $400 million in annual global sales. Volcano was sold to Royal Philips in 2015. Prior to Volcano, Quinoy served in executive sales management positions for Jomed Inc., AVE Inc., Medtronic Inc. and ACS/Guidant. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida.
Mr. Blake joined Provisio in January 2021 as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Blake has over 16 years of corporate finance experience including strategic and operational responsibilities, public and private financings, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Blake served as Chief Financial Officer of Second Sight Medical Products, Inc., a NASDAQ listed developer of artificial vision prosthetics, from March 2018 to September 2020. Mr. Blake previously served as Senior Vice President, Finance and other senior financial leadership roles, from March 2015 to March 2018, at aTyr Pharma, a NASDAQ listed biotechnology company. Mr. Blake served as a global finance director at Volcano Corporation, a NASDAQ listed medical device company and leader in IVUS, from November 2008 to March 2015, during the company’s growth to approximately $400 million in revenue and through the sale to Royal Philips NV for $1.2 billion. Mr. Blake holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and is a Certified Public Accountant. In addition, Mr. Blake has completed leadership executive education at Harvard Business School and the Strategic Financial Leadership Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
- Mr. Goodman joined Provisio Medical in November of 2018 as Director, Peripheral Vascular Marketing. He has more than 27 years of medical device industry experience. Prior to joining Provisio, Mr. Goodman was responsible for Global Market Development at Penumbra. Before Penumbra, Mr. Goodman was Associate Director, Global Market Development at Philips Volcano; primarily responsible for Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) in the peripheral vascular market. Prior to Volcano, Mr. Goodman held various positions in market development, training and education for Trivascular (now Endologix) and Medtronic. Mr. Goodman has also had positions in upstream and downstream marketing, product development, sales, quality assurance and manufacturing for companies such as Intuitive Surgical, Nellcor Puritan & Bennett (now Medtronic), Ethicon Endo Surgery and Ethicon, Inc. (both Johnson & Johnson companies). Mr. Goodman holds a B.S. in Applied Sciences in Engineering from Rutgers University.
Robert Ashley joined the Provisio team in January 2022 as VP, Regulatory, Quality and Clinical Strategy. Rob has over 40 years of experience in the drug and device development industry, having “C” level positions for much of that time, and has participated in two successful IPOs. Most recently he was Head of Regulatory for Epirium Bio Inc., developing drugs for the treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. Prior to that he was COO and CTO of Vital Therapies, Inc., where he had responsibility for worldwide manufacturing, regulatory affairs and clinical development for a combination biologic/device for the treatment of acute liver failure. He was CEO of AmpliMed Corporation, developing drugs for the treatment of cancer, and Senior VP at CollaGenex Pharmaceuticals, developing and commercializing drugs for the treatment of dermatological disorders (sold to Galderma, Inc.). Prior to that he worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Amersham International in various roles including sales, marketing, product planning, research and manufacturing. He obtained his Masters in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford.
